About Jordan

Jordan Lester is a partner at Cheadles LLP, having joined the firm in 2013 after articling as a judicial law clerk for the Superior Court of Justice in the Northwest region, including postings in Kenora, Sault Ste. Marie, and Parry Sound. He has appeared before the Federal Court of Appeal, the Ontario Court of Appeal, the Divisional Court, the Superior Court of Justice, the Ontario Human Rights Tribunal, and the Ontario Labour Relations Board, and his cases have been reported in publications including the Ontario Reports and Canadian Human Rights Reports. Before practicing law, he worked several years as a CBC reporter at the regional, provincial, and national level. He is active in the Thunder Bay community as President of the Thunder Bay Law Association and President and Trustee of the Thunder Bay Community Foundation, and he serves as a clinical instructor in Constitutional Law at Lakehead University's Faculty of Law. He was called to the Ontario Bar in 2013 after earning his Juris Doctor from Bond University and a Bachelor of Journalism (Honours) from the University of King's College.
