About Brent

Brent Loewen practises corporate and commercial litigation with an emphasis on creditor remedies and shareholder disputes. A Vancouver native, he was admitted to the bar in 2001 after earning his Bachelor of Laws from Queen's University in 2000 and a Bachelor of Arts from Simon Fraser University in 1994. He has represented clients before all levels of court in British Columbia and the Supreme Court of Canada, including shareholder rights litigation under the Canada Business Corporations Act (Park v. FinancialCAD Corporation) and creditor remedy disputes. Loewen also practises in professional errors and omissions, employment law, and personal injury litigation, and regularly volunteers at the Legal Aid Clinic.
