About David

David has represented unions in labour and related matters since 1975, practising with John Baigent and Marguerite Jackson in Baigent, Jackson, Blair from 1980 to 1990 and becoming a founding partner when the firm continued as Victory Square Law Office in 1990. His primary area is employment benefits delivery under trust arrangements, advising pension and health and welfare trustees on administration, pension division on relationship breakdown, and dealings with investment sponsors. His labour relations practice includes Labour Relations Board applications, particularly in the construction industry. He served as a BC Vice-President of the Canadian Association of Labour Lawyers from 1992 to 1996 and as its President from 2002 to 2004.
