About Colette
Colette Koopman is an associate practicing in litigation and dispute resolution, with a focus on corporate and commercial disputes, class actions, and securities and competition litigation. She has represented clients as counsel in several courts, including the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the Court of Appeal for Ontario, the Federal Court and Federal Court of Appeal, and Alberta's Court of King's Bench. She belongs to The Advocates' Society and currently sits on its Young Advocates Standing Committee, which works to support young lawyers across the profession in Canada. She also volunteers with Pro Bono Ontario's hotline, giving brief legal advice to people with low incomes. While in law school, she earned the Medal in Law for finishing third in her graduating class and received the Dean's Key in recognition of her contributions at Queen's Law.
