About Jessica

Jessica maintains a broad litigation practice focused on health law, professional liability, and directors' and officers' liability, defending class actions, mass torts, sexual assault claims, employment disputes, defamation claims, and human rights applications. She has appeared before various courts and administrative tribunals, including the Court of Appeal for Ontario and the Supreme Court of Canada, and her case work includes resisting certification of a proposed class action against child welfare agencies and defending hospitals in medical malpractice trials and appeals. She is a member of the Advocates' Society and the Ontario Bar Association. Jessica earned her Juris Doctor from Osgoode Hall Law School and a B.A. with honours in English and History from York University, and before joining the firm she articled as a judicial law clerk for the Superior Court of Justice's Central East Region.
