About Claire
Claire Qiu is an Associate at DWF Canada in Vancouver, called to the British Columbia Bar in 2024. She holds a J.D. from the University of British Columbia and a B.A. (with distinction) from Simon Fraser University, where she took an extended minor in French. Before joining DWF in 2026, she worked as an associate at a Vancouver litigation boutique focused on civil and commercial matters, professional regulation, insurance defence and estate litigation, and clerked at the British Columbia Supreme Court from 2023 to 2024 for six justices. During law school she took part in the Gale Moot and worked as a research assistant in criminal law and judicial remedies.
