About Christopher
Christopher (Chris) Young is a founding partner of Swainson Miki Peskett and a member of the firm's commercial litigation team, acting for public and private corporations, municipalities, and individuals in matters including contractual disputes, security enforcement, debt collection, construction and builders' lien and surety bond claims, commercial lease disputes, and bankruptcy and insolvency. A graduate of the University of Alberta with degrees in both Commerce (2006) and Law (2009), he also completed the Legal Education Society of Alberta's Intensive Advocacy course. He volunteers with the University of Alberta and provides pro bono advice through the Edmonton Community Legal Centre, and has served as Co-Chair of the Canadian Bar Association's Construction Law section for North Alberta.
