Billal Saleem was born and raised in Edmonton and earned a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance before pursuing a law degree at the University of Newcastle. He practises family law, administrative law representing health care professionals before regulatory tribunals, and real estate. Saleem has appeared before all levels of court in Alberta, including the Provincial Court, the Court of Queen's Bench, and the Court of Appeal.
