Notary & Commissioner ServicesChristopher Chelala is the founder of the CC Law Office, a boutique Edmonton firm he established to offer criminal defence, personal injury, real estate and notary services. He earned a four-year Bachelor of Arts at MacEwan University, majoring in political science with a minor in criminology, between 2012 and 2016, then completed a fast-tracked, two-year Juris Doctor. During his studies he volunteered for two years at a campus pro bono legal clinic, gaining experience with real estate, family, criminal and personal injury matters, and he was later certified by the Federation of Law Societies' National Committee to practice law across Canada. He began his career practicing criminal law at Grotski & Hostyn under lawyer Mark Grotski, and now works as a roster lawyer with Legal Aid, focusing on criminal defence and personal injury work. Christopher is a member of the Canadian Bar Association and the Criminal Trial Lawyers Association, and volunteers as a lawyer at the Edmonton Community Legal Centre, in addition to coaching soccer with the Royal City Soccer Club and having volunteered with Elizabeth Fry and the Boys and Girls Club. He speaks English, French and Arabic.
