About Christophe

Christophe Shammas maintains a broad litigation practice centred on construction disputes. He represents public and private owners, contractors and subcontractors across the construction pyramid and has appeared as lead counsel at every level of court in Ontario, as well as in arbitrations and adjudications. Beyond the courtroom, he regularly advises clients on procurement and the negotiation of project agreements and is often brought in to help resolve distressed projects. He speaks frequently to lawyers and construction industry groups on the Construction Act, dispute resolution and procurement processes, and Best Lawyers named him one of its 'Ones to Watch' for corporate and commercial litigation in both 2024 and 2025. He earned his undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Toronto and is licensed to practise in Ontario.
