About Christine
Christine Jonathan is a senior litigation partner practising civil and commercial litigation. She acts for clients in commercial disputes involving real property, construction matters, commercial landlord and tenant issues, and shareholder and partnership conflicts, including oppression remedy claims and business insurance matters. Christine also represents both employers and employees in employment disputes, covering wrongful dismissal, breaches of non-solicitation and non-competition agreements, harassment claims, and Human Rights Code issues, and she drafts employment contracts, handbooks, and workplace policies. She frequently works alongside US counsel on employment matters arising from the sale of Ontario businesses. Christine has appeared before the Superior Court of Justice, the Divisional Court, the Court of Appeal, and various boards and tribunals, and has mediated disputes across a wide range of issues.
