About Christina

Christina Vieira Olfert is a corporate lawyer whose practice focuses on commercial transactions, including commercial property acquisitions, sales and leasing, and the purchase and sale of privately held businesses through both asset and share transactions. She has worked on cross-border transactions and advised on financial services matters including investment funds, mortgages and banking, securities regulatory compliance, and private equity investments. Christina began her career at a large Winnipeg law firm before serving as in-house counsel to a publicly traded financial services company, and now draws on both private-practice and in-house experience to deliver business-focused advice. She earned her LL.B. from the University of Manitoba in 2004 and was called to the Manitoba bar in 2005, and belongs to the Lex Mundi Cross-border Transactions Practice Group, the Canadian Bar Association, the Manitoba Bar Association and the Canadian Corporate Counsel Association.
