About Chris

Chris is a Partner in McInnes Cooper's St. John's office who practices exclusively labour and employment law, advising businesses, governments and non-profit entities on the full range of workforce management issues, including pre-employment screening, workplace health and safety, investigations, discipline, accommodation, privacy and human rights, and collective bargaining. Where matters cannot be resolved without adjudication, he represents employers in human rights complaints, wrongful dismissal suits, grievance arbitration, judicial review and labour board hearings. Chris was appointed King's Counsel in 2020 and currently serves on McInnes Cooper's Board of Directors. He is a member of the Canadian Bar Association and the Law Society of Newfoundland and Labrador.
