About Matthew

Matthew Drover was born and raised in St. John's. He holds a Bachelor of Science from Memorial University of Newfoundland (2014) and received his Juris Doctor from the Dalhousie University Schulich School of Law in 2017. He completed his articles at Nelligan O'Brien Payne (now Nelligan Law) in Ottawa and was called to the Ontario Bar in June 2018, then returned to St. John's and was called to the Bar of Newfoundland and Labrador in October 2018. His general practice focuses on family law, civil litigation, and wills and estates, and he has represented clients at all levels of court in the province. He is an active member of the Atlantic Provinces Trial Lawyers' Association and the Canadian Bar Association.
