About Mohammad

Mohammad Ali Raza is a partner in Cox & Palmer's Halifax office, with over 20 years of experience in corporate commercial advisory, transactional, and regulatory work in private practice and in-house roles across Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and Canada. He supports businesses in the energy, housing, infrastructure development, and ocean technology sectors, advising on project structuring, financing, and complex contracts including joint ventures, power purchase agreements, and EPC contracts. Mohammad Ali was called to the Nova Scotia bar in 2016 after moving to Canada in 2014, and holds an LLB (Honours) from the University of London along with qualifications from England and Wales and Pakistan. He is a member of Cox & Palmer's Halifax Executive Committee, co-chairs the firm's Regional Energy Group, and chairs Feed Nova Scotia and Marine Renewables Canada.
