About Carissa
Carissa Tanzola is the firm's Managing Partner, advising employers on complex workplace issues with particular emphasis on health and safety, workers' compensation, and disability accommodation. She regularly appears before courts, arbitrators, the Ontario Labour Relations Board, and the Workplace Safety and Insurance Appeals Tribunal. Before joining the firm she served as a Vice Chair at the WSIAT and spent several years at a management side labour and employment firm. She co-authored the Employer's Guide to Ontario Workplace Safety and Insurance and has chaired the Labour and Employment Section of the Ontario Bar Association. Carissa holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Ottawa and a Bachelor of Arts with Honours from Western University, and was called to the Ontario bar in 2008.
