About Mary-Elizabeth
Mary-Elizabeth Dill is a partner whose labour law practice is centered on the university and broader public sectors, ranging from complex policy grievances to routine collective agreement disputes. She has developed particular experience in harassment and discrimination, the duty to accommodate, and workplace investigations, and speaks regularly on these topics at client seminars. Her arbitration record includes successfully challenging cuts to employee support services and enforcing life insurance benefits for older employees. She also maintains a growing public interest litigation practice, with particular focus on cases involving conflicting Charter rights, and has intervened on behalf of advocacy organizations in several notable cases. After articling and summering at the firm, she clerked at the Court of Appeal for Ontario and was called to the bar in 2016. She is recognized by Best Lawyers as One to Watch in labour and employment law.
