About Buck

Buck Hughes practises civil and commercial litigation, insurance defence, environmental law and employment law, with experience as a former Crown prosecutor and representing clients in commercial and construction disputes, contaminated sites litigation and wrongful dismissal claims. He has appeared before the BC Provincial and Supreme Courts and represented clients before the Environmental Appeal Board, acting for business owners, insurers, commercial landlords, strata corporations, developers and employers. He earned a BA with Distinction in Philosophy and Mathematics from the University of Victoria (2006) and a J.D. from the University of Victoria (2015), and was called to the British Columbia Bar in 2016.
