About Brian

Brian's practice focuses on commercial litigation, with an emphasis on bankruptcy and insolvency, foreclosures, builders' liens, and debt recovery for local and national lenders. He has appeared before all levels of the judiciary in Canada, including the Supreme Court of Canada, and is recognized as an authority on drafting legal precedents relating to creditors' rights. He drafted the default judgment form adopted as the Alberta-wide standard in 1985, and has published and presented on amendment of pleadings, civil practice, and collection law for the Legal Education Society of Alberta and the Alberta Civil Trial Lawyers Association.
