About Angela

Angela practises family law, personal injury law, and civil litigation, and is a senior litigator with more than 35 years of courtroom experience. She guides clients through divorce, separation, and parenting matters, and advises on personal injury claims. She is also a mediator, working with both parties to reach fair, cost-effective solutions to family law conflicts through open communication and mutual respect. She served as Deputy Regional Director and Senior Counsel for ten years with the Department of Aboriginal Affairs and Northern Development Canada, and as legal counsel with the Department of Justice Canada's Aboriginal Law Services Section. She has chaired the Alberta Civil Trial Lawyers Association's board (2022-2023) and has served on its executive committee since 2019 and as a board member since 2015, and has co-edited the Canadian Bar Association's Law Matters magazine (Alberta Branch). She has organized the ACTLA Women's Legal Forum events since 2013, chairing them in 2020, and volunteers on the Law Society of Alberta's Practice Review Committee.
