About Lianne
Lianne de Kappelle received her Bachelor of Commerce with Distinction from the University of Alberta's Faculty of Business in 2020 and her Juris Doctor from the University of Alberta's Faculty of Law in 2023, and was called to the Alberta bar in 2024. She participated in the 2023 national bilingual Laskin Moot Competition, delivering her submissions entirely in French, and volunteered with Student Legal Services in the Criminal Law division and with the Hate Crimes and Civil Rights Committee at REACH Edmonton. De Kappelle is conversational in French.
