About Brian
Brian Kells practises corporate and securities law at Perley-Robertson, Hill & McDougall, focusing on mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and general corporate/commercial matters, including venture capital and private equity financings and joint ventures. He was named to the firm's partnership after joining the Business Law Group. Kells served for 15 years in the Canadian Army Reserves, including a deployment to Kandahar, Afghanistan from 2008 to 2009, and remains active in the community through board and volunteer roles. He earned his J.D. from the University of Ottawa in 2015 and a B.Soc.Sc. from the same university in 2011, and was named a recipient of the 2026 Forty Under 40 award.
