About Brendan
Brendan Scott's civil litigation practice at Wright Henry covers labour law and construction labour law matters, acting for employees, unions, and associations. He has represented clients before the Ontario Labour Relations Board, in labour arbitrations, and in court, in matters including wrongful dismissal, wrongful competition litigation, injunctions, collective bargaining, and grievance arbitration. Before joining the firm in 2020, he articled and practised at a management-side labour and employment boutique, experience that now informs his advocacy on the employee and union side. He holds a B.A. in Political Science from McMaster University (2010), an M.A. in Communication and Culture from York University (2013), and a J.D. from Osgoode Hall Law School (2016), and was called to the bar in 2017. During law school, he volunteered as a caseworker in the Administrative Division of the Community Legal Aid Services Program and served as an associate editor of the Osgoode Hall Law Journal.
