About Alex
Alex St. John is a partner whose practice centers on civil litigation and labour law. He has represented unionized and non-union employees at every level of court in Ontario, plus before the Ontario Labour Relations Board, the Canada Industrial Relations Board, and in labour arbitration. His work spans the construction, manufacturing, finance, logistics, transportation, healthcare, and energy sectors. Alex was part of the team representing the Society of United Professionals in its constitutional challenge to the Bill 124 wage suppression law, and he acted for Teamsters Local Union 938 in injunction proceedings during a strike. He has also handled wrongful and constructive dismissal matters for senior executives and other employees. Alex was called to the bar in 2017 after earning his J.D. from Western University in 2016.
