About Tom
Tom Barker is developing a broad civil litigation and dispute resolution practice with a focus on commercial, regulatory, and administrative law. He joined Gudmundseth Mickelson after practising at a leading national business law firm in Vancouver. Tom received his JD from Dalhousie University's Schulich School of Law with a specialization in Business Law, and while in law school participated in Dalhousie Legal Aid's Tenants Rights project and provided pro bono legal assistance to refugees through the Immigrant Services Association of Nova Scotia. He earned a BA (Honours) in English Literature from the University of British Columbia in 2018 and his JD from Dalhousie in 2022, and was called to the British Columbia bar in 2023.
