About Ewa

Ewa advises First Nation governments on self-governance implementation, law making and negotiations with the Crown, having represented First Nations in BC and the Yukon on land and resource stewardship, protected areas, land use planning, education, and child and family services. Before joining Ratcliff, she was Legal Counsel for the Ministry of the Attorney General in British Columbia focusing on Indigenous legal relations and natural resources, and she has also worked for an international law firm in London and at the United Nations. She graduated in law from the University of Cambridge. She volunteers as a ski instructor for people with disabilities and organizes an annual charity bike ride across Eastern Europe. She was called to the bar of England and Wales in 2008, the British Columbia Bar in 2017, and the Yukon Bar in 2018.
