About Bob

Bob Adkins is a partner at TDS whose business law practice focuses on commercial real estate, real estate development, commercial leasing, municipal law, zoning, property assessment, and administrative law. Over the past 20 years he has developed considerable expertise in natural resource development and Indigenous law, particularly consultation and negotiation with First Nations and Indigenous communities on behalf of resource developers and government bodies. He has represented a major utility in extensive negotiations with First Nations and both the Manitoba and federal governments. Bob was appointed King's Counsel in 2020 and has been recognized by Best Lawyers in Canada in Aboriginal Law and Real Estate Law. He earned his B.A. from the University of Winnipeg in 1970 and his LL.B. from the University of Manitoba in 1973, and was called to the Manitoba bar in 1974.
