About Melanie

Melanie Wire is an associate at MLT Aikins LLP in Winnipeg, practising civil litigation and administrative law, including construction litigation and alternative dispute resolution. She has appeared at all levels of Manitoba court on motions, trials, and appeals, and has advised administrative tribunals and bodies. Wire was called to the Manitoba bar in 2018 after earning her J.D. from the University of Manitoba in 2017 and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Winnipeg in 2014. She chairs the Manitoba Bar Association's Administrative Law Section and received the association's Edward (Ned) Brown Headnotes & Footnotes Award in 2024.
