About Bianca

Bianca Braganza's practice areas include Aboriginal and treaty rights, employment and human rights, and Indigenous legal orders and law, among others. Before joining Woodward & Company in 2025, she practiced in the litigation group at a global full-service Bay Street firm in Toronto, focusing on professional liability and commercial disputes, completed a secondment in-house with a global telecommunications company, articled at a Bay Street litigation boutique, and clerked for a justice at South Africa's Constitutional Court. She holds a JD and BCL from McGill University, an Honours Bachelor of Health Sciences from Western University (Dean's Honour List, top 5%), and a Master of Science in Global Health from McMaster and Maastricht Universities, supported by the Ontario Graduate Scholarship. She was called to the Ontario Bar in 2023, is bilingual in French, speaks Spanish, and is learning Hindi, and has published work on topics including the biomedicalization of trauma and Indigenous law.
