About Jill
Jill MacDonald is associate counsel who joined Carfra Lawton in July 2021 after 16 years practising insurance defence at a small boutique firm. Her practice covers subrogation and defence work including construction, property damage, strata claims, insurance coverage, and personal injury. MacDonald earned a Bachelor of Environmental Studies from York University (2000) and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of British Columbia (2004), and was called to the British Columbia bar in 2005. She previously articled for a judge and worked at a First Nations legal clinic as a summer student.
