About Barry

Barry is a Partner in McInnes Cooper's St. John's office and a leading Newfoundland and Labrador lawyer in real property and estate work. Over more than two decades he has built a substantial practice in residential and commercial real property matters, including purchases, sales, financing, title applications, commercial land development and subdivision work, often acting for major chartered banks, and has also done extensive commercial leasing work. His experience extends to related wills and estate planning and general corporate guidance focused on long-term strategic planning. Barry holds an LL.B. and M.B.A. from Dalhousie University and a B.Comm. (Hons.) from Memorial University of Newfoundland, and volunteers with the Law Society of Newfoundland and Labrador, the Canadian Bar Association and the Canadian Home Builders' Association.
