About Scott

Scott maintains a corporate and commercial law practice with a focus on commercial real estate, working with private developers, REITs, and joint ventures on leasing and property acquisitions. His practice includes secured financings and the acquisition and structural organization of businesses, and he has represented landlords and tenants across Canada on complex industrial and mixed-use projects. Scott earned his JD from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law in 2014, an LLB (Distinction) from the University of Dundee in 2012, and a BBA from Acadia University in 2005. He was called to the Nova Scotia bar in 2015. He serves as director and chair of the board of the Family SOS Association and is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers.
