About Anisha

Anisha Grewal is an associate at Baker Newby LLP practising family law, employment law and civil litigation. She joined the firm as a temporary articling student in May 2023, returned to complete her articles in May 2024, and was called to the BC Bar in May 2025. Born and raised in Abbotsford, she moved to Kamloops to attend Thompson Rivers University, earning both a Bachelor of Business Administration in human resources and leadership and a Juris Doctor. During law school she was a teaching assistant for Fundamental Legal Skills, participated in the TRU Legal Clinic and the Kawaskimhon National Aboriginal Moot, and received the Law Foundation of BC Public Interest Award. She serves on the boards of Women Transforming Cities and the Ishtar Women's Resource Society, and is fluent in Punjabi.
