About Adnan
Adnan Habib is a partner at Baker Newby LLP and a Fellow of the Canadian College of Construction Lawyers, resolving construction and complex commercial disputes, including bonds, contaminated sites, delay and deficiency claims, insurance coverage, liens, leaky buildings and priority disputes. A significant part of his practice involves insolvency matters, including receiverships, foreclosures, CCAA proceedings, and bankruptcy. He graduated from the University of Saskatchewan with a Bachelor of Arts in political science and a Bachelor of Laws, received mediation training from Pepperdine University's Straus Institute of Dispute Resolution, and was called to the bar in 1993, becoming a partner in January 2000. He is a member of the Construction Law, Insolvency and Insurance subsections of the Canadian Bar Association and the Vancouver Regional Construction Association.
