About Andrew

Andrew Sain is a partner at TDS practicing civil litigation and administrative law, with a focus on insurance law, construction law, commercial litigation and personal injury litigation. He has extensive experience with insurance coverage matters, including construction insurance, property and casualty insurance, liability insurance and surety bond claims, advising insurers, insureds and other industry participants across Manitoba, Ontario and Western Canada. Andrew also maintains a general litigation practice with an emphasis on subrogated claims, commercial and shareholder disputes, and injunction proceedings, and has appeared before courts in Manitoba, the Federal Court, and courts in Ontario, Alberta and Saskatchewan. He joined TDS as a summer student in 2010, articled in 2012, became an associate in 2013, and joined the partnership in 2021. He holds a Bachelor of Arts with Distinction (2008) and a Juris Doctor (2012), both from the University of Manitoba, and was called to the Manitoba bar in 2013.
