About Jurgen

Jurgen Feldschmid joined Duboff Edwards Schachter Law Corporation as an associate in 1995, the same year he was called to the Manitoba Bar after graduating from Dalhousie Law School in 1994, and became a partner in 2005. His practice covers family law, child protection, civil litigation, and administrative law, and he has appeared before all trial and appellate courts in Manitoba, trial courts in Ontario, the Federal Court of Canada, and the Federal Court of Appeal, along with administrative tribunals and Fatality Inquiries Act inquests. He has chaired the Family Law Section of the Manitoba Bar Association and continues to serve on its executive committee. Jurgen holds Bachelor of Arts (Honours) and Master of Arts degrees from the University of Manitoba, earned before attending law school, and is an avid amateur cyclist who competes in local races.
