About Roland
Roland Acheson completed a joint Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Law through the partnership between Wilfrid Laurier University and the University of Sussex. He articled at a criminal defence firm in London, Ontario before his call to the Ontario bar in 2023. Since then he has argued bail hearings, Charter applications and criminal trials in both the Ontario Court of Justice and the Superior Court of Justice, and he won his first jury trial in 2026. That criminal defence background gave him the chance to help hundreds of clients from many different backgrounds, often people facing serious and difficult circumstances. He now practises personal injury law at Diamond & Diamond, working to help injured people secure fair compensation. He is a member of the Law Society of Ontario, the Middlesex Law Association and the Criminal Lawyers Association.
