About Olivia

Olivia's practice focuses on privacy and intellectual property law, along with health law, professional regulation and litigation. During her articles she supported privacy and technology matters, including legal questions raised by AI technologies, and researched how PIPEDA applies to professional regulatory bodies. She also drafted privacy policies and assisted with privacy breach management. In her regulatory work Olivia supports clients through disciplinary proceedings and advises regulated professions on bylaws and legislative changes. She holds a Master of Health Administration alongside her J.D., both from Dalhousie University's Schulich School of Law, and has researched issues ranging from MAID eligibility to mandatory reporting obligations. Olivia is a member of the Nova Scotia Barristers' Society, the Canadian Bar Association and the Canadian College of Health Leaders, and serves as Vice Chair of the CBA-NS Health Law Section.
