About Andrew
Andrew C. McKague joined the partnership at Zarek Taylor Grossman Hanrahan LLP in 2017 after earning his LL.B. at the University of Windsor and being called to the bar in 2010. Before law school he completed a master's in English at the University of Guelph and a Master of Library and Information Science at Western University. His practice centres on estate litigation and on defending automobile insurers in first-party benefit and tort disputes, though he also acts for some plaintiffs in serious car accident cases and handles employment and general civil litigation. He has numerous reported decisions and has argued matters at all levels of court in Ontario, including the Court of Appeal. Andrew regularly conducts examinations under oath and has worked on fraud investigations targeting suspect claims and clinics, and he handles priority and loss transfer disputes through private arbitration. He co-chairs two of the firm's practice groups covering estate litigation and examinations under oath, and has been included in Best Lawyers in Canada since 2022.
