About Raquel

Raquel Kaplan Goldberg heads the estate planning and administration group at her firm, drafting wills, powers of attorney, and trusts, and advising executors through the administration process. Her trust work includes primary and secondary wills, Henson trusts, insurance trusts, residence and spousal trusts, alter ego trusts, and bare trusts, and she coordinates with U.S. counsel on cross-border matters. For executors, she helps manage the probate process while liaising with financial institutions, accountants, and beneficiaries. Raquel earned her J.D. from the University of Toronto, where she won the Warren Lefton Prize in Estate Planning. She began her career in wills and estates at a Bay Street firm before spending nearly a decade at a mid-size Toronto practice.
