Gaunt is a business lawyer who draws on his own experience as a former business owner, advising on share and asset purchases and sales, structuring new corporations and partnerships, and negotiating shareholder agreements and commercial contracts. His clients range from closely held private companies to publicly traded organizations in technology, healthcare, natural resources, and construction. Before law school he worked as a journeyman concrete finisher. Called to the Alberta Bar in 2019 (Northwest Territories 2026), he was named an 'Ones to Watch' corporate lawyer by Best Lawyers in Canada in 2026.
