About Aman

Aman Rai joined WBA Law as an associate in 2018 and became partner in 2021. During law school she worked with Alberta Health Services and as a Faculty of Law research assistant, and after being admitted to the bar she articled with the Alberta Utilities Commission and a boutique law firm, including a family law secondment. She later practised civil litigation, personal injury, insurance, corporate and commercial law, estate planning and administration, and family law at a broad-service Calgary firm before concentrating on corporate and commercial law with a focus on residential and commercial real estate. Aman has appeared before the Alberta Court of King's Bench, the Alberta Court of Justice and various tribunals, and has experience with mediation and arbitration. She speaks Punjabi fluently and has a basic understanding of Hindi and Urdu.
