About Alyssa

Alyssa is an associate in Gowling WLG's Ottawa office, practicing in the Indigenous Group and Business Law Department. Her practice focuses on corporate commercial, Indigenous law and Canada's North, and she works on mergers and acquisition transactions, reviewing NDAs and funding agreements, and advises Indigenous clients on Community Trust matters. Alyssa works on Indigenous specific claims and advocacy, including class actions such as the Indian Day Schools (McLean) Settlement. Prior to joining Gowling WLG, she worked extensively with Indigenous organizations, particularly within Inuit Nunangat, and with organizations including Nunavut Tunngavik Incorporated and the Government of Nunavut.
