About Zachary

Zachary Giboney is the principal lawyer at ZG Law, which he established after working at a boutique corporate and commercial law firm in the GTA. He has advised on matters including the sale of a national restaurant franchise with over 200 locations and a dispute over ownership and operational control of commercial real estate valued at over $150 million. His practice also covers everyday business matters such as employment and contractor agreements, incorporations, and shareholder and partnership agreements. He holds a BA from the University of Ottawa and a JD from the University of Western Ontario, and has assisted technology companies, including OpenAI, with training AI language models to interpret legal concepts, contributing to an academic article published by the Centre for AI Safety.
