About Amanda
Amanda is a partner at Torys who practices in commercial banking and debt finance. She co-heads the firm's Banking and Debt Finance Practice and represents lenders, sponsors and borrowers on domestic, international and global deals. Her work spans acquisition financing, private equity and leveraged finance deals, liquidity financings, offerings of debt securities in both public and private markets, and streaming or royalty-based financings. She also designs fund finance products for fund clients and lenders, such as subscription facilities, NAV facilities and co-investment programs. Her practice also includes restructuring work, representing clients in debtor-in-possession financings, exit financings, and stream financings, along with the intercreditor relationships that arise from them. She belongs to the Women in Law@Torys Committee, and she also serves as a director of Canada's National Ballet School as well as Youth Employment Services.
