About David

David Dae-won Jung practises corporate and commercial transactions, real estate transactions and civil litigation, and acts as general counsel for international corporations establishing operations in Canada. He earned a Bachelor of Physiology from McGill University in 2008 with a minor in East Asian studies, graduated from the University of New Brunswick law school, and articled with a large regional firm in Halifax before returning to Calgary. He serves as legal counsel for the non-profit K-LINC and for multinational Korean corporations, is president of the Calgary chapter of the Overseas Korean Trade Association, and has acted as a designated external counsel for the Consulate General of South Korea in Vancouver since 2020.
