About Alan

Alan MacNeill joined Burchell MacDougall's Truro office in 2026 after 45 years practicing law in Truro, including many years with the firm of Grant, MacNeill. He was the first law student in Nova Scotia to article at the Supreme Court of Nova Scotia and twice served as president of the Public Legal Education Society of Nova Scotia. His practice now focuses on residential real estate transactions and wills and estates, after earlier work in divorce, family, criminal and real estate law.
