About Charles

Charles Thompson practices administrative, employment and municipal law at Burchell MacDougall's Truro office, which he joined in 2004 after ten years practicing in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories. He is a director and chair of the Liability Insurance Association for the legal profession in Nova Scotia and has volunteered with the Boys and Girls Club of Truro and Colchester. He was recognized by The Best Lawyers in Canada 2026 for Administrative & Public Law, Labour & Employment Law, and Municipal Law.
