Administrative & Regulatory LawJane is a partner at Patterson Law whose practice centers on agreements of purchase and sale, leases, migration of parcels to the Land Registry system, and real property transactions, along with general estate planning. She has served as the primary property lawyer for the Municipality of the County of Colchester and the Town of Westville for several years and is a registered user of the Land Registry System. Jane is past Chair of the Real Property Section of the Canadian Bar Association's Nova Scotia Branch and has presented to the Real Estate Lawyers Association of Nova Scotia on developments in Nova Scotia real estate practice. She has been recognized in The Best Lawyers in Canada for real estate law since 2020, and was named Real Estate Law Lawyer of the Year in Truro for 2023. Jane is active in the Truro community, including as a board member of the Truro and Colchester Partnership for Economic Prosperity and past president of the Rotary Club of Truro. She earned her LL.B. from Dalhousie University in 2007 and was called to the Nova Scotia Bar in 2008.
