About Leslie
Weekes practises corporate and commercial transactions, corporate governance, energy law, mergers and acquisitions, and securities and corporate finance. Weekes has obtained exemption relief from the Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada and annually prepares continuous offering documents for a group of mutual funds. Weekes is a director of the Calgary Convention Centre Authority and has taught securities law for paralegals at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology. Weekes was called to the Alberta Bar in 1985 (Ontario 1988, British Columbia 1991) and holds the ICD.D designation.
